Courthouse Snipers
First, shoot all the lawyers.
Last night someone tried to kill a probate lawyer. I suspect this will not be the last time. Imagine the chilling effect if courthouses became danger zones, if the litigious types of our society began to fear their day in court because they would have to travel under armed guard.
What a thought!

In 1998, a man crashed his burning pickup truck through one of the entrances of our courthouse.
Soon after the incident, they erected concrete pillars in front of all the doors.
What's worse: the act itself or the fact that people feel they must resort to such violence?

I saw the video on the news. That's probably the gnarliest thing I've seen in a while. The fact that the lawyer wasn't killed is amazing.
