Ahmed Hikmat Shakir

We've all heard a lot of smoking gun bedtime stories. But here's one that has got my attention and I daresay should be all the proof anyone might possibly need proving a link between Iraq and Al Qaeda.

Check out this story over at the WSJ. And this column at the NRO.

Don't forget this name. He's got to be the most wanted criminal on the planet.

Funny, seems like I read somewhere that most od Hayes' "facts" have been discredited. Unfortunately, I can't find the article right now.

Of course, your links go to the WSJ ed page and NRO. Its not like these guys are looking for ways to discredit Bush and have proven that they go out of their way to boost him and his war. When they scream "we have proof of an Iraq/al Quaeda connections and its in this book", well, color me unconvinced. Kinda of like believing The Final Call if they wrote the work of Minister Farakhan had saved Black America. Well, I might want to check some other source before believing them.

No offense, walter, but that has got to be the lamest excuse I've heard yet. You didn't bother to refute anything that is said.

Did you stick your fingers in your ears and hum after you typed that?

Go read the book. Trust me. Stephen Hayes has documented his information pretty well.

The whole first chapter is about Ahmed Hikmat Shamir and what the CIA knows about him. Educate yourself, my friend.

Well, I *did* say to remember his name. I guess he turns out to be the Weakest Link. So much for that clue.
